I’m just like you.
I never feel confident in front of the camera either. I worry that my body won’t look the way I want it to, or that my kids won’t behave for the camera…
I get it!
But I also know the only photos we ever regret are the ones we didn’t take. When those little kids are all grown up, these are the moments we’ll want to remember forever.
As a Hawke’s Bay family, newborn, and maternity photographer based near Napier and Hastings, I’ve met so many mums who feel the same way—worried, unsure, a little hesitant—and every single one of them has walked away so glad they did it.
My Story
Photography has been a part of my life since I first picked up a camera as a teenager (feels like forever ago!). But it wasn’t until I had kids that I really understood the value of it. My phone was filling up with photos of them, and I knew my proper camera could capture those moments so much more beautifully.
So I started photographing my own kids… then friends’ kids… then families across Napier, Hastings, and the wider Hawke’s Bay region. Before long, something clicked—and my little side passion grew into this amazing business.
After 10 years as a veterinarian, I took a leap, followed my creative heart, and became a full-time family and newborn photographer in Hawke’s Bay. I’ve never looked back.
Now, I get to capture beautiful moments for all types of families—each one unique and perfect, just as you are. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. x

IT’S FUN!
Don’t worry – your kids will have a ball! Whether we’re playing in the sunshine somewhere in Napier, Hastings, or another beautiful corner of Hawke’s Bay, think of me as your super-friendly, playful aunty – with a camera in hand to capture the magic! I’ll play games, chase your kids, and even make a few silly noises to get them giggling!
IT’S COMFORTABLE!
As for the grown-ups, any fears of standing awkwardly in front of the camera holding some un-natural pose will melt away in minutes. You’ll find yourself losing track of time as we chat, watch me chasing your little ones, and you’ll walk away feeling like you’ve made a new friend. So many Napier and Hastings families have told me how relaxed they felt after just a few minutes!
